A new gatewayto the city
Articulated along Hasselt’s new waterfront promenade, the Havenkwartier masterplan creates new opportunities for living, dining and shopping. Designed in collaboration with De Gregorio & Partners, the masterplan comprises several large building volumes for apartments, shops, restaurants and bistros that position the city as a prime travel destination in the Limburg region.
Havenkwartier employs an architectural vocabulary that fosters human connections by offering a rich mix of leisure activities that bring people together in new and unique places.
The masterplan is conceived to improve people’s quality of life by responding to a wide array of needs, by creating new proximities between people and services, and by establishing a new form of dialogue between the canal area and the city center.
