The new Milan headquarters of Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler is conceived with the highest standards of environmental sustainability and an attention to personal well-being. The new 38,000-sqm building targets WELL and LEED certifications considering aspects such as indoor air quality, thermal comfort, natural light, preferring the use of natural and recyclable materials with low environmental impact, as well as highly efficient systems to limit energy and water consumption. The chimney of the building site will be repurposed to conduct outside air into the bioclimatic greenhouse of the building, while the surge tank will be converted into a water tank that collects rainwater for the irrigation of the internal garden. Located in Milan’s Symbiosis business district, the office complex moves from traditional office spaces to hybrid and aggregative environments to accommodate diverse and inclusive work groups.
