Loreto Verde is a competition entry for the creation of a future-oriented urban regeneration project that inspires Milan’s polycentric growth driven by social and environmental sustainability. Encouraging spontaneous interaction and exchange at one of the city’s busiest and most densely populated districts, Loreto Verde responds to the needs of people by accommodating diverse habits and behaviors while strengthening residents’ sense of belonging.

The project embraces the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and offers new connections with nature in new green squares, roofs and an urban woodland, creating 6,500 sqm of additional pedestrian area that integrates with new infrastructure and public spaces for events and social activities.
