Located at the intersection of key mobility infrastructures that anchor Milan to Northwest Italy and the European corridor, the Expo Bridge was developed as part of the essential public works allowing access to Expo 2015.
Stretching over 4 kilometres, the project consists of a sequence of interconnected structures—bridges, viaducts and tunnels—which design is marked by the articulation of five continuous arches, each with distinct structural configurations, yet unified through precise positioning, a cohesive architectural language and material palette.
Together, these elements form a kinetic landmark that visually transforms depending on the observer’s speed, direction and viewpoint.
