Eden Hotel’s architecture and interiors offer a hospitality space characterized by the use of exquisite natural materials.
The vast volume of the project has been divided into a sequence of smaller buildings – high and narrow – that settle into the smooth line of the Alps valley’s gentle slopes. Entirely covered with wood, the buildings’ façades are perforated by loggias and large glass-panels – a design feature that remains quite unique in the cooler climates of the mountains.
The building technology aims at maximizing the passive heat exchange of buildings through the use of super-insulating elements around the perimeters, through the climate mitigation capability of the loggias in the windows and with the use of high-performance glass panels.
