After the completion of the Fastweb Headquarters and the opening of Piazza Adriano Olivetti, Building D was a major addition to the urban and environmental regeneration program of Milan’s Symbiosis District. A large-scale intervention aimed at reframing the relationship between business, public space, and sustainable development, transforming a residual periphery into a vibrant and well-connected part of the city.
Building D is a 20,000-sqm office complex that redefines the workspace as a place capable of adapting to employees’ personal and professional needs. The mixed-use volume features a compact footprint and a strong urban presence, engaging the street with active frontages and a transparent, welcoming ground floor. The architectural language emphasizes material clarity, energy efficiency, and spatial adaptability. The façades integrate photovoltaic panels and high-performance glazing, meeting LEED Gold certification targets.
