The slender residential tower is a landmark of Taichung’s 7th District. Thanks to the unique orientation of its architecture, the building overlooks the adjacent park, opening up the elegant interiors of the residences to panoramic views of the city. The building articulates a new kind of architectural and urban presence inspired by the geometrics of Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti.
Unlike its neighbors, the building is not conceived as a series of stacked volumes that sit on each other. Rather, it is formulated as a collection of thin and light planes that consolidate residential areas, public spaces, terraces, and landscape.
Treasure Garden’s façade and interiors are characterized by an elegant and flexible geometry, while the landscape design defines clear access points, with carefully selected trees that mark the automobile access and the entrance.
