Jumeirah Bay is a seahorse-shaped island off the coast of Dubai. ACPV ARCHITECTS’ masterplan for this man-made extension of the city offers a one-of-a-kind lifestyle experience for both guests and residents. The masterplan organizes a series of interrelated programmes—including hotel, residences, marina, yacht club, villas and mansions—into an integrated waterfront environment.
The project establishes a cohesive and enduring relationship with its marine surroundings through an integrated vision of buildings, open spaces and materials.
The public spaces, such as the marina promenade and inner courtyards, are treated as an urban fabric of interconnected environments. The landscape design, structured yet informal, enhances the liveability of the outdoor spaces all-year-round, supporting a climate-responsive public realm.
