Sara Busnelli

Architect Partner

Sara Busnelli is an architect Partner and the CEO of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. She graduated in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 2001, after studies at Leibniz Universität and Fachhochschule Hannover, in Germany. She joined ACPV ARCHITECTS in 2001 and became Partner in 2012.

Sara Busnelli leads multidisciplinary teams on complex residential, hospitality, workplace, production facility and public spaces projects. Her approach combines regenerative design principles with a strong attention to social and environmental contexts. Recent projects include the Gate Central mixed-use residential building in Milan, the new wing of the historic Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, the production facility for the Zegna Group in Parma (Italy), a resort in Taiwan, and residential towers in Bangkok and Hong Kong.

She regularly speaks at conferences and universities on a variety of topics, including sustainable architecture, inclusive design and urban regeneration.
