The interior and exterior renovation of the historical palazzo hosting the Clusone City Hall in Bergamo (Italy) features the restoration of the facade’s frescos, the consolidation of the historic stone structure and vaulting of the building, together with the insertion of new steel elements. Accessibility and circulation are facilitated within the building by the new stair structures. The walls of the building preserve the historic decoration composed of frescos from different periods, alluding to the space’s symbolic significance that stretches across times.
