ACPV ARCHITECTS & Santagostino clinics collaborate for healthier workplaces
ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with its design technology hub ACPVX, and Santagostino – La Tua Salute, the network of specialized clinics of Gruppo Unipol, launch a research project to design more comfortable workspaces with reduced environmental impact.
In its first phase, the project involves the installation of sensors at ACPV ARCHITECTS’ headquarters, where the environmental data collected will feed the platform created by ACPVX that will combine the Internet of Things (IoT) parameters with the building’s BIM models. The combination of the data and the digital models will allow the creation of a “digital twin” of the building, offering an understanding of how the spaces are used and experienced by end users. The final phase of the project will see the creation of algorithms that support the design and management of spaces, with the aim of increasing the comfort of those living in the building and reducing energy consumption.
