Badrutt’s Palace Hotel Serlas Wing wins at the International Architecture Awards

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel Serlas Wing has won in the “Hotels” category at the International Architecture Awards 2026.

This project is inspired by the unique location in St. Moritz, surrounded by the mountainous landscape and infused with the spirit of the world-renowned Hotel, opened in 1896.
The building, with its façade dotted with deep, carved-in windows and a cantilevered wooden roof, presents a forward-looking aesthetic, while celebrating local architectural traditions.

Serlas Wing connects seamlessly with the neighboring buildings, creating a new pedestrian path network, with its portico and a new series of stairs and passages.
